Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 31 August 2026

1. Who we are

Ledger is operated by Garison Bonnici - Trumpet ("we", "us", the seller), based in Malta. By creating an account or continuing to use Ledger, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, which form a contract between you and Garison Bonnici - Trumpet.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe, which also handles tax calculation, invoicing and payment-related support for orders placed through our checkout.

2. The service

Ledger is a subscription web application that lets you record income and expenses, attach receipts and invoices, track gigs, lessons and salary, manage savings accounts and goals, convert currencies, import events from Google Calendar and Gmail, generate images with AI Studio, and use music reference tools. New accounts receive a 7-day free trial; after the trial, accounts without an active subscription become read-only.

3. Your account

  • You must be of legal age to enter a contract (18+), or have a guardian's consent.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

4. Licence and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Ledger within your selected plan. You must not misuse the service, including:

  • Using Ledger for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive;
  • Infringing anyone's intellectual property rights;
  • Introducing malware, probing or attacking our infrastructure, or scraping the service;
  • Reverse engineering the service or circumventing plan limits;
  • Reselling or redistributing access to the service.

5. AI Studio content

AI Studio generates images from your prompts. You are responsible for your prompts, for how you use the outputs, for verifying their accuracy, and for having the rights to any content you provide. You must not use AI Studio to create illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, malware instructions, or attempts to bypass safety systems. AI outputs may be inaccurate and are not professional advice. We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend accounts that repeatedly infringe others' rights. Rights holders can report infringing content at garison.trumpet@gmail.com and we will review and remove it where appropriate.

6. Payments, subscriptions and refunds

Payments, billing, taxes, subscription renewals, cancellations and refunds are processed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected interval (monthly or yearly) until cancelled; cancelling keeps access until the end of the paid period. See our Refund Policy for how to request a refund.

7. Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of Ledger and its intellectual property, including the software, documentation and branding. You retain ownership of the data and content you add; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service to you.

8. Service level and liability

We do not guarantee that Ledger will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) to the fullest extent permitted by law. Ledger is a record-keeping aid, not financial, tax or legal advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (including loss of profits, data or goodwill), and our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When your access ends, your data remains available in read-only form for a reasonable period so you can export it, after which it may be deleted.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Maltese courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept them.
